The organ workshop was created in 1967, first in Bouxwiller (Northern Alsace - France), then in Willer in 1972 (Southern Alsace - France).
The enterprise grew fast due to constant local new orders first from Alsace, then from France, and later from Germany, The Antilles, Switzerland ; there were evens organs built in Portugal and Japan.

Christian Guerrier ; organ master builder, was born in 1941 into a parson’s family and grew up with Church music. In 1959, he began his apprenticeship at the company MUHLEISEN (Strasbourg), then he became a tuner working at the firm WALCKER and later at SCHWENKEDEL. He took his Master exam in Strasbourg

His son Jean-Christian Guerrier was born 1966. After graduating from secondary level school, he studied mathematics and physics before he ended his training in his father’s firm. Later he worked at Georges Heintz and Johannes Rohlf in Germany and took his master exam in 1998 (Ludwigsburg). Once back home he took over the “Guerrier-Manufacture of Organs” (together with his father).

The workshop team

Marianne Bucher, organ master builder (born in 1961): tuning, construction of pipes, different jobs in the workshop.
Daniel Saltzmann (born in 1954) : restoration of pipes, different jobs in the workshop, supervising. Organ manufacturer since 1973.
Nicolas Kling (born in 1981), Mechanical actions, Wind chest and systems, installation and setting up of organs, organ manufacturer since 1997.
Anita Kuentz (born in1973) Secretary, Part-time employee.
